Position Summary
As Chief of Staff, you will work directly with Stalwart’s principals to perform a broad range of integral functions for the business, including managing Stalwart’s existing activities, developing, evaluating, and implementing strategic operational initiatives, supporting process systematization, and leading recruiting efforts. These activities will collectively drive improved execution capacity and efficiency while leading Stalwart towards successful implementation of its business plan.
This position is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated, analytical and process-driven individual to have a transformational impact on the trajectory of Stalwart as it becomes a leading Canadian insurance business.
Your role will include:
Supporting the evaluation of strategic opportunities and presenting analysis in a manner that drives data driven decision-making
Developing project plans for operational initiatives and providing project management oversight to see through their implementation
Managing ongoing workstreams and deliverable timings through the development and maintenance of reporting structures and active engagement with key stakeholders to satisfy all timings
Performing commercial review of legal documentation for partnership activities with external parties
Executing on diverse insurance transactions with high-net-worth / ultra-high-net-worth clients and Canadian employee groups
Liaising with key suppliers such as insurance companies and credit groups to ensure smooth execution of the strategies
Managing several operations and analyst teams and ensuring smooth team integration and cooperation
Ensuring the effective ongoing management of client files
Participating in or leading key strategic meetings
Required Skills or Experience

Nice to Have Skills or Experience
Experience within the Canadian insurance market
Experience with software-based approaches to underwriting
Experience in corporate development
Experience in process development and systematization
Experience collaborating with senior executives
Staff-college level military experience, or a special operations military background
